Paola Staeblein
Artist Bio-Statement
Nature is my playground, source of inspiration and connection with spirit.
Born and raised in Brazil, I was introduced to nature in a gentle and inviting way by my father and spent most of my free time enjoying the beach or the mountains around Rio de Janeiro. Living in California for 30 years now, I feel very connected to the natural environment around me and I commune with it when hiking and photographing.
I bought my first camera in 2009 and enjoy experimenting in this art form since then.
I love exploring the process of creating mostly abstract images of nature, awakening the viewers’ curiosity and stimulating their imagination with pieces that may suggest something other than the actual subject. Abstract photography opens possibilities and allows for a new way of seeing.
